NorthBay Health is seeking a Board Certified, Licensed Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to practice in our highly regarded health system in Northern California. - Schedule: 4 days per week. Dedicated procedure and administrative time
- Call: No In-House call; from home
- Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct maternal fetal medicine consultations and ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies. Outpatient mostly, inpatient as needed.
- Utilize NorthBay's electronic medical record system for documentation of office visits and ultrasound reports.
- Participate in morning inpatient board rounds via phone, collaborating with Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Baby unit, and Neonatologists for comprehensive patient care discussions (15-minute rounds).
- Round on antepartum patients as necessary to provide timely and thorough care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for high-risk pregnancies.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding prenatal care and pregnancy complications.
- We should probably mention the on call for consultation regarding high risk patients? This is tricky though because we haven’t defined or figured this part out yet.
- Ability to do cerclages, amniocentesis, CVS, etc.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship Trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state
- Proven experience in MFM procedures
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Total Compensation Range: $500,000- $580,000
