Job Responsibilities
-Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of OB/GYN problems.
-Direct, advise, and supervise medical staff including nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, etc. on proper procedures and protocol.
-Support enhancements of technology to drive higher quality and consumer experience while maintaining clinical quality.
-Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
-Actively participate in internal quality improvement teams and work with team members to proactively drive improvement initiatives.
-MFM opportunity is mostly outpatient with some inpatient consults
-Work 8hr shifts Mon-Fri, with dedicated, highly-competent clinical staff
-High volume ultrasound, including interpretation of fetal echocardiograms, first trimester screening, fetal anatomic survey, amniocentesis – (CVS experience appreciated, not mandatory) **
-Antenatal assessment interpretation including NST, biophysical profile
Qualifications
-Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
-Previous experience in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is preferred.
-Active Medical License in the State of Maryland/Virginia/DC is strongly preferred.
