Locum General Medicine Physician Opportunity in Houston, PA

We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, Pennsylvania. Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and assessments.
• Provide clear insights and recommendations based on examination findings.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for examinations.
• Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
• Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. with a focus on General Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Experience with Compensation and Pension assessments is a plus.
• Active and unrestricted license in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to perform METs testing, and evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular issues.
• Proficient with standard office technology; must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible status preferred.
• DMA certification upon completion of training.
