We are seeking a Locum Tenens Primary Care Physician to provide high-quality care to underserved and homeless populations in a public service outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in family or internal medicine, with a willingness to receive training in HIV care and Integrated Behavioral Health (BH) services as needed.
✔️ Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, primarily adults.
✔️ Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and provide preventive care.
✔️ Perform pelvic exams, Pap smears, and employment physicals.
✔️ Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
✔️ Work collaboratively with a team of six mid-level providers.
✔️ Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
✔️ Maintain quality assurance in patient care, medical documentation, and laboratory review.
🔹 Active Georgia Medical License & DEA – Required
🔹 Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine – Required (IM Preferred)
🔹 Graduation from a State-Approved Medical School – Required
🔹 5+ Years of Post-Training Experience – Required
🔹 BLS Certification – Required
🔹 Experience Supervising Professional Staff or Administrative Experience – Highly Preferred
🔹 Familiarity with Medically Underserved & Immigrant Populations – Highly Preferred
🔹 Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Highly Preferred

Job Responsibilities

Working Hours

📆 Shifts: 20 estimated shifts (160 total hours)
⏰ Shift Hours: Flexible, between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
📅 Weekend Requirements: TBD
📞 On-Call: None
👨‍⚕️ Patient Load: 10-12 patients per day
