Schedule:
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- Inpatient: 7 on/7 off schedule
- Outpatient: Monday through Friday
- Shared call schedule (1 in 4 weekends for inpatient rounding with house staff)
Job Description:
Seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join the Academic Section of Internal Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. This position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of building a newly accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program, mentoring future physicians, and contributing to the advancement of medical education.
Highlights:
Faculty appointment based on experience
Work alongside medical residents and students in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Rotations include inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing care
Lead teaching lectures and didactics as part of the core curriculum for the Internal Medicine residency program
Provide mentorship to medical students and residents
Participate in program and resident evaluations
Research opportunities available with support from a full-time Director of Research
