A healthcare network with multiple sites around New York is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join one of their Bronx sites.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (one Saturday per month; gets a weekday off when working a Saturday)
- Hours: 8am to 6pm (one late night shift per week)
- Setting: Outpatient
- Patient Volume: 2 to 3 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
- Review all test results and recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits
- Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
- Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings
Qualifications:
- M.D. / D.O.
- Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
- DEA/BLS/ACLS certifications
- 1-3+ years experience
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained
- Fluent in Spanish and English
