Internal Medicine Program Director MD /DO -Tallahassee, FL
* Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine
Per the ACGME formal requirements to be considered for Program Director, applicants must have:
* Current/prior academic appointment as Associate Program Director or Program Director in an ACGME-accredited residency program within the past five (5) years
* Minimum of three (3) years of formal academic medicine appointments and training program teaching and administration experience
* Documented scholarly activity in the form of research, publications, poster presentations, book chapters, etc. within the past five (5) years
* Be willing to combine Administrative and Diagnostic (teaching) Responsibilities
* Have strong administrative and team building skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations highly encouraged to apply.
