OPEN POSITION:
Physician - Adult Primary Care
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time Preferred (32 Clinical Hours per Week)
- Negotiable Part-Time Option
- Some Flexibility in Hours Offered
COMPENSATION:
- $200,000 to $225,000+ Starting Base Salary, dependent upon experience
- Guaranteed Salary Increase after 1 Year (up to 20%)
- Regular Performance-Based Bonuses (up to 10% of salary)

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice has been providing services to adult patients in the Arlington Heights area for more than 40 years. They are an internal medicine practice with an in-house lab, on-site ultrasounds and echocardiograms, and sleep studies, among other resources. They currently employ 5 physicians and 1 physician assistant, along with a robust support staff of clinical and administrative team members. They are hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a standard outpatient primary care role, in which the physician will be responsible for overall provision of care to adult patients. The practice is open to both internal medicine and family medicine backgrounds (but all patients are ages 18+).
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- adult and geriatric primary care
- patient evaluations
- physical assessments
- patient education
- chronic disease management
- preventative medicine
- medication management
- specialist referrals
Providers see an average of 20 patients per day, with a dedicated clinical support staff.
The practice uses the eClinicalWorks EHR.
On-call duties are minimal and every 1-2 months. On-call is phone triage only and volume is low.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Illinois medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
