Job Title: Physician (Internal medicine /Family medicine /Emergency medicine)
Location: Chillicothe OH 45601
Hours/week: 40 hours/week
Shift: 09:00AM-05:00PM (M-F)
Duration: 6 months to Long term
Board-eligible or board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine and who is experienced in primary care to provide on-site services to the male population at this facility.
Job description:
• Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system.
• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing.
• Managing medication.
• Completing reclassifications and other reviews as indicated.
• Making referrals for specialized care or treatment.
• Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards.
• Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews.
• Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed.
• Caseload: Up to 2.5 patients/hour.
Required:
• Ohio Medical License
• Copy of Board Certification
• BLS/CPR certification
• Drug Enforcement Administration certification
