Seeking an innovative and collaborative BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician with a demonstrated interest in academic medicine and resident teaching in central Connecticut.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Report to the Chair of Department of Medicine and the Program Director of the UConn Health Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program.
- Medical Director will provide oversight, administration, and management of physician, medical residents, medical students, and provider staff in the Outpatient Clinic.
- Position will be core faculty in the PCIM residency program and be involved in curriculum development.
- Position includes academic appointment at The University of CT School of Medicine.

- S/he will possess qualifications for academic appointment at the University of Connecticut (assistant professor level or higher), and an interest in faculty development, medical education, and research.

- Collaborate with specialists and clinical faculty to provide a multi-disciplinary learning experience
- Develop leadership skills and development and promote faculty wellbeing
- EPIC with Dragon, HIPAA-compliant texting, patient self-scheduling and patient portal
