Internal Medicine Opening in Oroville, CA (Permanent) 70 miles north of Sacramento, CA Full time, permanent $253,200 $345,300 Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Oroville, CA. Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing quality and comprehensive medical care across our clinic sites. This role is ideal for a physician who is committed to delivering high-quality care, overseeing mid-level providers, and engaging in patient education. Responsibilities: Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and administer treatment to patients. Supervise and direct nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other mid-level providers. Oversee the performance of nursing and support staff. Review laboratory and x-ray findings, and provide diagnoses. Complete documentation and maintain medical records in accordance with corporate procedures. Participate in consumer education and in-service training for support staff. Meet all contractual and quality of care requirements, including participation in Peer Review. Provide virtual care services, including phone and video consultations. Manage a panel of primary care patients, offering acute care, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Act as a supervising physician to nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Maintain professionalism, positive relationships, and uphold high ethical standards. Qualifications: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an approved internship. Valid California State Physician and Surgeon License. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Current CPR certification. Sensitivity to a diverse patient population. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to ongoing learning and adapting to new medical developments, treatments, and medications.
