Internal Medicine Medical Director opportunity in Seattle, WA
Excellent opportunity to work autonomously and thrive in a leadership role. Enjoy solving complex medical problems within an interdisciplinary medical team. We are looking for an internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM) physician for a medical director role that will include patient care rounding and medical director duties in skilled nursing facilities in the Seattle, Washington, area. In this role, you will round 3.5 days a week with the flexibility to choose your preferred rounding schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Primary care rounding in skilled nursing facility
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
- Collaborate with clinicians, facility leaders and others regarding care and services
- Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- Medical director duties for assigned facility
- Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our clinicians
- Conduct clinical case reviews, as needed and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care
Qualifications:
- A minimum of six months of primary care experience
- Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
- Leadership background a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Active and unrestricted Washington license
- Active and unrestricted Washington DEA
Compensation is Fee For Service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $220,000 to $250,000 annually with no cap productivity income potential. This full-time role is benefit eligible including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, disability, FSA, and more.
