Adelphi is seeking to urgently recruit a Physician for a training center in Indiana. The candidate will be primarily responsible for overseeing health services at the training center, providing comprehensive medical care to students, and supporting the center’s wellness program.

Requirements:
• Licensed as a Physician in Indiana.
• MD/DO
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience with adolescent and young adult healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive health and wellness program tailored to the needs of young adults, supporting their successful program completion and employability.
• Advising the Center Director and wellness team on medical issues, including assessments, medical separations, care plans, and budget management.
• Providing direct medical services, including initial health screenings, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, and managing immunizations and communicable diseases.
• Coordinating with mental health, dental, and other health professionals for integrated care.
• Training staff on health protocols, such as infection control and emergency response.
• Ensuring the confidentiality and secure management of health records in compliance with regulations.
• Developing health care guidelines in line with Job Corps standards and Indiana laws.
• Offering 24-hour emergency back-up for student health needs.
• Overseeing medical procedures, inventory, and professional development for staff.
• Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to contribute to individualized student care plans and continuously evaluating health services for improvement.
