Contract Length: 4 months
Shift Details:
Schedule: V. M-F 8-5pm. Call would be by phone only and 3 times a month.
Work Details:
15 patients per day
Standard outpatient Internal Medicine:
-Provides care for adults and adolescents in an outpatient setting. Their responsibilities include:
-Diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries of internal organ systems, such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension
-Prescribing medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes to treat or prevent illness
-Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare
-Monitoring patients' conditions and progress, and reevaluating treatments as necessary
-Collecting, recording, and maintaining patient information, such as medical history, reports, or examination results
-Referring patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary
-Providing consulting services to other doctors caring for patients with special or difficult problems
Immunizing patients against preventable diseases, such as HPV and measles
Requirements:
· Board Certification: yes. BCIM
· License required: willing to license
· Minimum experience: 1 year min IM experience
All travel covered
