Internal Medicine Physician Locums Job in Louisville, Kentucky

Key Responsibilities:
--Provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting, primarily for older adults.
--Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans tailored to geriatric needs.
--Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
--Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Qualifications:
--MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty required.
--Must have or be able to obtain an active State Medical License for Kentucky. Board Eligibility required; Board Certification preferred.
--Current DEA number for schedule II-V controlled substances.
--Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within the first 90 days of employment.
--Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel locally as needed, with potential for regional and national travel for training and recruitment.
