Job Description
Seeking a full-time Board-Certified, Full Spectrum, Internal Medicine, Core Faculty Physician for an Internal Medicine Residency Program located in southwest Virginia. The main focus of this position will primarily be the teaching of residents but will also have responsibilities for teaching medical students and oversight of advanced practice providers.
Opportunity Details:
- Ideal candidate must be Internal or Family Medicine board certified with training in full-scope medicine including a desire to provide patient care in various settings.
- Physicians must have a strong commitment to graduate medical education.

- Handling administrative duties for the GME program, which includes resident supervision in the clinic and hospital
- Attendance at meetings
- Candidate interviews
- Curriculum development and research
- Direct patient care
- Clinical activities working with residents
