We are hiring Internal Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum assignment in Santa Cruz County, CA!

Job details:

• Start ASAP – ongoing for 6 months to a year
• Shift times: Weekdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch
• Frequency: Monday – Friday, every week- no call, would also consider someone who could do only a few days/week
• Setting: Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal.
• FTE: 1.0
• Duties: Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male/female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, chf, etc
• Required Procedures: N/A
• EMR: Cerner
• Patients per Day: Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity (includes new patients)
• Support Staff: MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic
• Reason for Coverage: Provider Retiring

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification – BC in Internal Medicine required, Geriatrics is a plus!! Site will consider candidate BC in Family Medicine if they have experience in IM & Family Medicine. - REQUIRED
• Active CA license - REQUIRED
• BLS – REQUIRED at the time of submission
• Clean malpractice/background - HIGHLY PREFERRED
