Associate Internal Medicine Residency Program Director

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a full-time Associate Internal Medicine Residency Program Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to education and training, as well as a passion for improving the quality of care for patients with complex medical conditions.

The Associate Program Director will work closely with the Program Director to oversee all aspects of the residency program, including curriculum development, student recruitment and selection, and resident education and evaluation. The Associate Program Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing new programs and initiatives to improve the quality of the residency program.

Responsibilities of the Associate Program Director include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the residency program, including curriculum development, student recruitment and selection, and resident education and evaluation
  • Developing and implementing new programs and initiatives to improve the quality of the residency program
  • Working with the Program Director to create a supportive and collegial learning environment for residents
  • Advising and mentoring residents on their professional development
  • Serving as a liaison between the residency program and the Department of Internal Medicine

Qualifications for the Associate Program Director include:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Experience in Internal medicine residency training or strong desire to work in Academia
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Commitment to education and training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
