Centurion is proud to be the NEW provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director for clinical services provided to the Maryland incarcerated population at the Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown (CMI-H) in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Job Responsibilities
• Clinical direction needed and direct patient care to meet the service delivery requirements of assigned site
• Supervision and evaluation of medical services for pre-trial or incarcerated populations.
• Clinical supervision for medical staff.
• Chair or participation in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
• Interfacing with agency clinical and administrative leadership on issues related to medical services.
• Close collaboration with onsite providers and nursing staff in the provision of healthcare services to pre-trial and incarcerated populations
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
• Board certification/eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine required
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Leadership experience preferred
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
