Job Overview - Physician (Family/Internal Medicine):
Our client, a faith-based community health center in Williamsburg, KY, seeks a full-time Board Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician to provide care to a mix of chronic and urgent care patients. This full-time role focuses on adult and geriatric care, with occasional pediatric visits.

Compensation: $220,000/year
Location: Williamsburg, KY
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (No weekends or on-call duties)


Responsibilities as the Physician (Family/Internal Medicine):
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care with a focus on chronic and urgent care for adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patients.
  • Examinations: Perform medical evaluations, create treatment plans, and manage ongoing care for patients with chronic illnesses.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Education: Educate patients on managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic issues.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records for each patient visit.
Qualifications for the Physician (Family/Internal Medicine):
  • Education: MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certification: Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
  • Experience: 5+ years in Family or Internal Medicine, including 3 years of residency.
  • Licensure: Current Kentucky Medical License required.
  • Certifications: CPR and AED certification required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records and a strong commitment to patient care.
