Job Responsibilities

Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment
Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities
Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient
Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary
Represents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group
Collaborate and manage APPs

Qualifications

MD or DO degree
Board-certified in Family Medicine
Licensed to practice medicine in the state
Proven experience and/or training in a primary care setting

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites
Daily Patient Census: 18 patients per day
Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources
Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
