Adventist Health St. Helena is looking for a Primary Care Physician to work at the Lifestyle Medicine Institute and provide specialized care which includes Preventive Medicine and Wellness.

Overview: Adventist Health St. Helena is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician with a focus on Lifestyle Medicine (Preventative Medicine) to join our forward-thinking clinic. Our model emphasizes preventative care and personalized wellness, offering a unique opportunity for physicians passionate about making a significant impact in patient health through individualized strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized primary care with a focus on preventive medicine and lifestyle management.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including lifestyle evaluations and health risk analyses.
  • Review and interpret lab results to develop and adjust tailored wellness plans.
  • Engage in in-depth, one-on-one patient consultations to address health goals and concerns.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients through direct communication via email.
  • Participate in virtual call coverage for one weekend per month, managed through phone or email.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in preventive medicine and lifestyle management.
  • Strong commitment to delivering personalized, patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support patients through both in-person and virtual interactions.
  • Ability to handle virtual call coverage efficiently (one weekend a month)

Candidates must be BC/BE, be CA licensed or eligible and meeting the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.
