Opportunity Overview:
SSM Health Dean Medical Group has a flexible, full-time (.8-1.0 fte) Internal Medicine physician opportunity available at our Janesville location. We are seeking a talented & engaged physician to join our tenured team of physicians & advanced practitioners at our clinic conveniently located between Chicago, Madison, & Milwaukee.
Our Janesville clinic was built in 2012, and houses both primary & specialty care, as well as urgent care, pharmacy, medical imaging, & lab. This opportunity combines higher earning potential than currently found in larger metropolitan cities, yet offers the same great amenities with a lower cost of living without the big city hassles of traffic jams & skyrocketing housing prices.
Our full time Internists typically work full time with a 4-5 day work week, and participate in a telephone-only call schedule as our internists partner with the St. Mary's Janesville Hospitalist program to cover inpatient needs. On average, this practice will see 15-20 patients a day utilizing a 28-36 patient contact hour schedule, and utilizes Epic EMR in our clinic & hospital settings, streamlining care coordination.
