ARCH Placement is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a community health center in Asheville, North Carolina, in the southern Blue Ridge mountains. Part-time and full-time schedules are available.

Responsibilities:
1. Assess, maintain, and improve the health status of individuals in the communities served through timely access to evidence-based acute, preventive, and chronic disease care.
2. Serves as a role model of professionalism to all members of the interdisciplinary health care team. Collaborates with all Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP) and Other Licensed Independent Practitioner (OLIP) including Physicians, APNs, PAs, Therapists, Dentists, etc., and clinical support staff to form a high performing team.
3. Cultivates a climate of safety, trust and compassion for patients and colleagues.
4. Provides medical evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to patients of the clinic in a timely manner, including responding to emergencies and answering medical questions.
5. Provides high-value cost-conscious care; demonstrates good stewardship of resources by limiting unnecessary testing and referrals; and considers risks, benefits, and patient preferences when making diagnostic or therapeutic intervention decisions.
6. Documents all patient care activities and bills for all services provided in the electronic health record. Documentation must be clear, concise, accurate, updated, and in sufficient detail to allow another provider to continue the patient’s care as well as to allow other parties to review the safety and quality of care provided.

Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
• Completion of residency from an accredited program.
• Current unrestricted state of North Carolina MD or DO licensure
• Current DEA certificate required
• Must be Medicaid & Medicare eligible
• Board Certification in Specialty preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
• Base salary $188,000 - $205,000
