OB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center seeking BE/BC Internal Medicine Core Faculty members to join our residency program in beautiful Arizona. Position offers competitive compensation with a comprehensive benefits package.
These individuals will work with the Residency Program Director and Associate Program Director to develop and implement a novel and innovative training experience for future generations of internal medicine physicians.
About position:
Joining a large and very busy multispecialty group in the outpatient setting
0.8 clinical supervision of residents in outpatient internal medicine, and 0.2 FTE dedicated administrative time.
Assist with and attend didactics/education activities
Seek opportunities to engage with residents in scholarly activity
Join one or two committees that meet one to three times a year each, depending on your interest and availability
Interview residency program candidates on select interview days.
Supervise residents and provide feedback
Qualifications:
Physician must be board-certified in the United States in the field of Internal Medicine
Skills in outpatient procedures and use of ultrasound encouraged. Will offer opportunities for additional training of faculty members to develop such skills
