Medical Director – Post Acute Care (Internal Medicine)

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified Internal Medicine (IM) physician to join our busy inpatient rehab practice as a Medical Director. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice clinicians (APCs), social workers, and therapists, to set realistic goals and help patients regain their prior level of function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate with a team of APCs, social workers, physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
• Set and achieve realistic patient rehabilitation goals.
• Oversee patient care and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Details:

• Full-Time, Monday to Friday
• Day call only
• See 15 patients per day

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Experience in rehabilitation medicine in an IRF or SNF setting.
• Strong leadership skills and a desire to excel in a Medical Director role.
