Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity in Windsor, NC

We are seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds physician to join a well-established practice in Windsor, NC.

Position Highlights:

  • 4-day work week and a flexible schedule

  • Inpatient responsibilities include rounding on 6 Intermediate Care beds
  • Practice located within a local hospital offering 13 specialties and subspecialties
  • Lab and X-ray on site
  • Mentorship within the clinic
  • Patient Education Nurse on site

As an Internal Medicine Physician in this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting.
  • Round on 6 Intermediate Care beds within the local hospital.
  • Work with a team of 1 physician and 3 advanced practice providers to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in mentorship and support for new and less experienced providers.
  • Utilize on-site lab and X-ray services for patient diagnostics and treatment.
  • Collaborate with the Patient Education Nurse to provide patient education and support.
  • Engage with a strong internal referral network for comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds.
  • Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Ability to manage both outpatient and inpatient care responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for patient education and community health.
  • Flexibility to work within a well-established practice and adapt to a structured healthcare environment.
