My name is Jason Long with ProTouch Staffing. We have a Client in Central Arizona in search of a Locum MD/DO for coverage starting in October 2024.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- The clinic is open Monday through Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm. The preferred schedule would be 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts- with a day off on Wednesday or Thursday.
- Will be taking call about 2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month/will only be taking calls never called back in.
- Weekday Call 5p-7a
- Weekend Call 7a-7a
- Assignment will be year long (no less than 6 months)
- Setting: Standard Ambulatory Clinic
- Duties: Acute care, Annual Wellness Exams, Follow Up Visits, Surgical Clearances, Hospital and ER Follow Ups, etc., triage calls and after hours with nurses.
- FTE: 1.0
- Required Procedures: Wound care, ear lavages, sutures, cryotherapy
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Medical Assistant, Front office Assistant, RN
- Reason for Coverage: Support with access issues due to departing provider
Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:
- Approximately 15-18 patients per day to see Acutes, Annual Wellness Exams, Follow Up Visits, Surgical Clearances, Hospital and ER Follow Ups, etc.
- First day info: First day consists of hospital orientation, second day is Cerner training with Provider Concierge/IT, third through fifth day is shadowing, elbow support will be provided the first two days seeing patients.
Requirements:
- Board Certified
- AZ License or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
- Internal Medicine Residency. (Can consider FM)
- DEA
- Clean malpractice/background
- Availability at time of name clear
