SCHEDULE:

CLINIC HOURS:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Saturday, 8:00am to 12:00pm
- closed Sundays and holidays
COMPENSATION:
- $200,000 to $250,000+ Base Salary, dependent upon experience

LOCATION:

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice has been providing a full scope of primary care services to patients in the Suffield area for more than 40 years. They currently employ 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers, along with a robust support staff of clinical and administrative team members. In addition to their traditional weekday clinic operations, they also offer a medical walk-in facility that’s open on the weekends and where they see patients for urgent medical care. They have on-site x-ray, phlebotomy, and lab services.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a standard outpatient primary care role. The current patient base is 95% ages 18 and up. If the new provider would like to expand the pediatric patient population, the practice is happy to accommodate that.
The practice is open to a part-time schedule of 2 or 3 days per week or a full-time schedule of 4 or 5 days per week.
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- patient evaluations
- physical assessments
- patient education
- chronic disease management
- preventative medicine
- medication management
- specialist referrals
The clinic has on-site x-ray, phlebotomy, and lab services.
Providers see an average of 18 to 24 patients per day, with dedicated support staff.
The practice uses the Epic EHR.
The practice is open to physicians of all experience levels, including current residents graduating in 2024 or 2025.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Connecticut medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
