A private organization in Florida is currently seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing practice in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

The Family Practice Physician will:

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of illnesses and medical conditions for patients
• Perform routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma by developing and implementing long-term care plans
• Provide care for acute illnesses and injuries, including infections, minor injuries, and sudden illnesses
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work, imaging studies, and ECGs
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on the use of over-the-counter medications
• Refer patients to specialists when specialized care
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including history, treatment plans, and outcomes
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics or Medical-Pediatrics

Desired Skills:

• 3+ years of postgraduate experience in an Ambulatory, Acute Care, and/or Private Practice
