- Low-volume rural hospital
- 40 patients per day (24hrs)
- 10 hour shifts
Requirements:
- Active California License
- Active DEA License
- Board Certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine (NBPAS, ABMS, or AOA Boards)
Qualifications
Education/Training Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in
Emergency Medicine OR Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training
program in Internal Medicine OR Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training
program in Family Medicine
Certification Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading
to certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine,
Emergency Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, or Emergency
Medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Board certification must be
achieved within five (5) years of appointment to the Medical Staff and must be continuously
maintained.
OR Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading
to certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Internal
Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine by the
National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Board certification must be achieved within five (5)
years of appointment to the Medical Staff and must be continuously maintained.
OR Current certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, Family
Practice (and OMT) by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, or Family Medicine
