**Position Details:**_x000D_

- Full-time, permanent position_x000D_
- Perform assignments which can vary from routine to exceptional in nature and are carried out with minimal guidance in accordance with clinic office practices and procedures_x000D_
- Comply with organization and department policies. _x000D_
- Position Responsibilities/Essential:_x000D_
- Health Care Delivery_x000D_
- Reports to the Chief Medical Officer_x000D_
- Provide high quality health care services including the following:_x000D_
- Accessible and available health services to patients 18 years of age and older_x000D_
- Education of and effective communication with those served concerning the diagnosis and treatment of their medical conditions, appropriate preventive measures, and use of the health care system_x000D_
- Treatment that is consistent with clinical impressions and working diagnoses_x000D_
- Appropriate, accurate and complete electronic medical record entries, in a timely manner_x000D_
- Adequate and appropriate transfer of information for continuity of care_x000D_
- Evaluate patients in a timely, courteous and professional manner_x000D_
- Completes all required documentation for billing of services provided_x000D_
- Promote and demonstrate good customer service to both external and internal customers_x000D_
- Consult, refer, and collaborate with other disciplines involved in the delivery of total patient care_x000D_
- Advise management on performance deficiencies of medical auxiliary personnel (incl. M.A.s)_x000D_
- Assume the role and duties of other clinical personnel, as necessary_x000D_
- Rotate call for emergencies in the evening, and on weekends and holidays as assigned_x000D_
- Attend continuing medical education (CME) programs (up to 40 CME hours per year) and provide a copy of the course completion certificate to the medical staff services department._x000D_
Maintain credentialing and privileging in good standing._x000D_
- Essential Skills and Experience:_x000D_
- Graduate of an accredited medical school program_x000D_
- Completion of an accredited United States Internal Medicine Residency program_x000D_
- Board certified_x000D_
- Valid Arizona medical license_x000D_
- Valid DEA certificate_x000D_
- Current BLS_x000D_
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques_x000D_
- Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates and the general public_x000D_
- Basic business English, spelling and punctuation skills_x000D_
- Basic computer efficiency_x000D_
- Valid AZ drivers license_x000D_
- Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status_x000D_
- Nonessential Skills and experience:_x000D_
- Three (3) years of community health care_x000D_
- Bilingual -English/Spanish_x000D_
- Electronic Health Records_x000D_
