Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions in the outpatient setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and specialists, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Perform routine procedures and minor office-based interventions as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records/documentation in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Educate patients and their families about preventive healthcare measures, treatment options, and disease management strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of clinical best practices within the practice.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Strong clinical skills with proficiency in diagnosing and managing a diverse range of medical conditions commonly encountered in primary care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in an outpatient primary care setting preferred but not required.
