Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Primary Care Physician for an organization in San Francisco. This is a full-time salaried outpatient position with benefits.

Purpose:
The Clinic Physician is tasked with both clinical and administrative oversight of the Clinic's medical staff, including Physicians and Nurse Practitioners, under the guidance of the Associate Medical Director.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Primary Care:
- Manage personal patient panels as the primary care physician.
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and collaborate on care plans.
- Perform regular medical assessments and manage acute illnesses across various settings.
- Provide clinical coverage and supervision, particularly for Nurse Practitioners.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and in-house medical specialists.
- Handle on-call responsibilities in rotation and maintain diligent record-keeping.

Clinical Supervision:


- Oversee clinical care quality and provide supervision at the Clinic.
- Conduct chart reviews and performance evaluations.
- Offer guidance and oversight to medical assistants.

Administrative & Leadership:

- Drive clinic process improvements in collaboration with nursing leadership.
- Review performance metrics and attend interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Supervise, coach, and assist in the onboarding of new providers.
- Coordinate medical coverage and participate in leadership training.

Required Qualifications:


- Medical License in California
- Active DEA License
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Subspecialty in geriatrics or palliative medicine, or experience with the elderly population.
- Valid medical license and certifications.
