Job Description

A Sterling, Michigan based client is seeking an excellent Internal Medicine Physician to provide outpatient primary care services in a community health center. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to adults.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current Michigan state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or eligible in internal medicine
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashion
  • Diagnose and treat patients of all ages and variable health conditions
  • Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results
  • Competent care with mostly adults
  • Supervises and directs family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other mid-level providers
