The Division of Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking an Associate Division Director to work closely with the Division Director to provide a patient centered high quality medical environment that fosters excellent clinical service to the community and furthers the educational and research mission of the Division.
This leadership role will have oversight of clinical issues, contribute to high quality patient outcomes, foster health equity, and support new programmatic initiatives. This role will also work with the Division Director on formulating strategic plans for the division, faculty recruitment and budgeting. In this role, the Associate Division Director will work with the Medical Directors and Practice Managers of 11 Clinical Sites and 3 GME training sites as well as Quality Improvement and Population Health leaders and staff and educational and research leaders across Jefferson.
Qualified candidates will be MD/DO Physician, and Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a record of interdisciplinary collaboration also required.
