Job Summary:

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking an Academic Hospitalist for our Associate Program Director role​ to help lead our IM Residency Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidates are expected to participate in developing our curriculum and maintaining our didactics; serve as a role model and mentor to our Internal medicine residents; assist with administrative duties, including resident recruitment, clinical competency committee, and program evaluation committee; and take initiatives in quality improvement projects and other research and scholarly activities. Teaching and administrative experience is highly desired.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:

  • Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine
  • 3-5 years post-residency clinical experience required
  • Evidence of ongoing involvement in scholarly activity, including peer-reviewed publications
  • 2 years of Core Faculty/GME teaching experience
  • Inpatient and Outpatient care experience is preferred
