Charleston Area Medical Center is seeking two fulltime BC/BE physicians in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or other clinical specialty for its Transfer Center. Position is responsible for driving the Transfer Center operations daily working alongside current Transfer Center Staff and Flow Coordinators. Utilization of Capacity Management and Careware to determine real time capacity and demand to accommodate incoming referrals and patient needs. Work in partnership with regional hospital leaders, referring and accepting physicians, and key service line stakeholders to develop transfer policies. Demonstrate knowledge of transfer center processes to ensure key compliance and regulatory policies are being met.
