Ambulatory General Internist opening - Cooperstown, NY Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent

  • Major teaching affiliate of Columbia University that is a culturally connected, engaging, and progressive academic health system in central New York, seeking a Ambulatory General Internist to join team.
  • Join a remarkable team of General Internists and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC)
  • Provide comprehensive Medical Care for patients 18 and above
  • Orientation time to ramp up schedule to a maximum of 8 patients per 4 hour session, 9 sessions per week
  • Protected administrative time Wednesday mornings
  • Dedicated nursing and administrative staff
  • Clinical teaching in General Internal Medicine and/or Geriatrics
  • Secondary call coverage a first call system in place with a nurse practitioner/physician assistant on call for your patients
  • Faculty appointment from Columbia University, daily interaction with medical students, Internal Medicine, and Transitional residents
