Position: Primary Care Physician – Internal Medicine/Family Medicine
Location: Near Tampa, FL
Salary: Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5 (No weekends), Call rotation

Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician specializing in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. This role requires at least 3 years of Managed Care experience and expertise in Medicare Advantage to deliver exceptional outpatient care.
  • Embrace a collaborative, team-based care approach.
  • Focus on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, preventive care, and disease management.
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and communicate care plans effectively with patients and families.
  • Treat and manage patients with multiple comorbidities within the Medicare Advantage population.
  • Coordinate with the care team to create cohesive plans and reduce unnecessary testing and fragmented care.
  • Maintain compliance with the scope of practice within the state of licensure.

Requirements

  • Board-Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
  • Unrestricted medical license and DEA license (or ability to obtain before starting).
  • Current CPR and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Must be Bilingual
  • Experience with EMR systems, especially ECW.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Advantage, HEDIS, MRA, and ICD-10 coding.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex cases.
  • Comfortable caring for a primarily Medicare-aged patient base.
