Do you know of a Family Medicine, Internist or Med/Peds seeking to work in Kentucky either doing inpatient/outpatient or all outpatient medicine?
NO Visa Candidates will be considered - reference: FLin/SB9/28/16 1:21p
Location: Just over one hour to Lexington and ninety minutes to Cincinnati in northeastern, KY.
Employed outpatient opportunity in a fully equipped group practice. Located close to the 52 hospital bed hospital campus where an excellent hospitalist program is in place to provide high quality care to your patients. Expect a strong financial package inclusive of full benefits that include paid vacation, sign on bonus, relocation assistance, health, dental, vision, life, short term disability, long term disability, 401K, CME, and consideration of student loan support. Enjoy the charm of smaller town living with the amenities of Lexington providing easy airport access, great restaurants, affordable housing, Keeneland Race Track, the Kentucky Horsepark, University of Kentucky athletics, Natural Bridge, Red River Gorge and much more.
Provider will join a very established, full service, family medicine practice consisting of 1 full-time physician, 2 full-time NP's and 1 full-time PA.
Reason for opening is due to being a very busy practice where it is common to see up to 45 patients/day per provider. Ideally they would like to see 30 patients/provider/day. Provider will admit his/her own patients to the hospital. If provider is willing and interested in covering nursing homes in the area that is available. They will be expected to take nursing home call/hospital call only on their patients. There are 3 clinic locations. The APC’s go to the two clinics outside of the county. The clinic is a full scope practice offering lab, CT, MRI, full service diagnostic. The current physician does surgical procedures on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the one county. These consist of EGD’s, DNC, biopsies
Monday through Friday; 8am-5pm. 10 days call coverage unpaid. Only following own patients so provider doesnt’t need to come in much, all unassigned patients go to the hospitalist program.
Requirements: Must be BC/BE, have a current or pending KY Medical License is preferred, have a current & unrestricted DEA, Clean Databank and No current significant malpractice history.
Interested & qualified candidates must forward a current CV along with your availability to [Register to View] or fax to [Register to View] .
