Job Description
The W.G. (Bill Hefner) Salisbury Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center actively seeks a full-time Geriatrics Physician to join our esteemed team. We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and interested in providing effective patient care management in interdisciplinary environments.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.
- Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.
- Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty.
- Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Geriatrics or Palliative Medicine.

- Competitive Salary Range: $241,000-300,000
- Work Schedule: 08:00-1630, Monday-Friday
