Job Title: Medical Director
Location: Burlington, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 Employee

Why You'll Love This Opportunity
Welcome to Burlington, NC—a place where small-town charm meets big-time opportunities. If you’ve ever dreamed of a role where you can lead with purpose, grow professionally, and still make it to your kid's soccer game (or the occasional mid-week matinee), this is it.
This isn’t just a job—it’s a lifestyle. Think Monday through Friday flexible hours that let you start the day with a coffee in hand, not a phone on your ear during a 2 a.m. primary night call (because there’s no primary night call). Enjoy bi-weekly bonuses that make payday feel like a holiday, and a 40-day onboarding program designed to set you up for success—complete with MIPS training and support.
And let’s not forget the fringe benefits:
- Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage (your past is covered so you can focus on the future).
- EMR training and support, because we know clicking the right box shouldn't feel like brain surgery.
- Educational opportunities where you can become the leader you’ve always imagined (and maybe meet some cool people along the way).
- Wellness support to ensure your body and mind are as sharp as your stethoscope.
- Lucrative referral incentives, because good friends make great colleagues (and they might owe you dinner).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding clinical care to 20 patients daily.
- Serve as a trusted leader and resource for your team, embodying best practices in clinical leadership.
- Collaborate with support teams to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in on-call duties (but don’t worry, they’re BE/BC).
- Take advantage of growth opportunities into local and national leadership positions.
Requirements
- Reside within a reasonable commute to Greenville and New Bern, NC (proximity to North Carolina barbecue and beaches is just a bonus).
- Board-certified or board-eligible.
- Clinical leadership experience.
- Relevant clinical experience treating patients in the last 12 months.
- An active and unrestricted NC medical license, DEA, Medicare, and Medicaid provider numbers.
- A CV with work history and education listed in mm/yyyy format (because precision matters).
- Any gaps in your education or work history explained (we won’t judge; life happens).
