A healthcare network in the New York City is actively seeking Regional Medical Director to join their growing staff at an outpatient clinic in Manhattan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead medical care and oversee interdisciplinary teams across Diagnostic and Treatment Centers
- Ensure delivery of quality ambulatory services and support site directors
- Participate in multidisciplinary activities like case conferences and family/team meetings
- Oversee staffing, provider coverage, and recruitment of new providers
- Supervise policies, procedures, and call schedule development
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and manage population health
- Collaborate with external medical organizations and support clinical review activities
- Provide clinical coverage when needed and ensure compliance with managed care principles
- Lead educational and professional development programs for providers
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (Geriatrics preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of staff supervision and experience in value-based care or managed care
- Experience with elderly populations or training through PACE programs
- Active and unrestricted NY State medical license
- Medicaid and Medicare Provider IDs in good standing
