Geriatrician- Bronx, NY (#3010)

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Geriatrician to fill an opening with a network of federally qualified community health centers located in Bronx, New York.
Requirements of the Geriatrician:
- Must have an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of the accredited residency program
- Must have completed a Fellowship in Geriatrics
- Must be Board Certified
- Must have valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLS
- Understanding of and passion for Community Healthcare is preferred
Benefits of the Geriatrician:
- The salary for this position is $210,000 - $245,000 / yr
- This is a Full-time position

Responsibilities of the Geriatrician:
- The Geriatrician will provide medical care to treat, prevent, and/or diagnose illness, disease, or injury.
- The physician will examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and/or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of the patient and prescribe/administer treatment, therapy, medication, and/or vaccination.
- The physician will also focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results on prescribed treatments with patients and advise patients and the community concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- The physician will collaborate with non-physician providers (NP, PA, CNM, etc).
- The physician will perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs/demands.
- Home visits and in-office visits
