Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of geriatric patients' health status
- Develop personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
- Manage and coordinate the treatment of complex medical conditions commonly seen in the elderly population
- Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness and side effects
- Perform procedures such as IV infusions, medication administration, and dermal fillers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for geriatric patients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in geriatric medicine and evidence-based practices
- Utilize telehealth services to provide remote consultations when necessary
Qualifications
- Board certification in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine with a focus on geriatrics
- Experience in managing complex geriatric cases including urological issues, ICD-10 coding, and dermatological concerns
- Familiarity with clinical trials related to geriatric care is a plus
- Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for virtual patient visits
- Strong communication skills and empathy when interacting with elderly patients and their families
