Job Title: Primary Care Physician (Outpatient Clinic)
Location: Alice, TX
Salary: $250k+ up to 20% annual bonus incentive + Sign on bonus
Hours: M-F min call coverage
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient clinic in Alice, TX. Our clinic is committed to providing collaborative, value-based care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare services, fostering patient relationships, and working in a collaborative team environment. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with minimal call coverage and ample appointment times to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' health status.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to meet patients' healthcare needs, incorporating evidence-based medicine and best practices.
  3. Provide primary care services, including but not limited to routine physical exams, preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness management.
  4. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  5. Educate patients on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
  6. Utilize electronic health records (EHR) system for documentation, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and communicating with patients and other members of the healthcare team.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice transformation activities to enhance patient outcomes and promote value-based care delivery.
  8. Stay abreast of developments in primary care medicine, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements through continuous learning and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.
  2. Board certification or eligibility for certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.
  3. Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas
  4. DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative team environment.
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced clinic setting.
  8. Experience with value-based care models, population health management, and quality improvement initiatives preferred.
