About Us:

-Hospital employed position joining a well-established Critical Care team of six physicians in Norman, OK.

-Join us at our new state-of-the-art facilities recently completed with a substantial hospital addition and renovation at our main campus. There are 32 ICU beds, 32 step-down beds, with 307 total hospital beds.

-Level III Trauma Center with in-house EMS service. Our 48 bed Emergency Medicine Department and free-standing EDs at Moore and Highway 9, are all new/nearly-new builds featuring leading-edge technology and construction.

-Work closely with our team of about 50 full-time Respiratory Therapists, which are credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Norman Regional is committed to our investment in respiratory technology.

-We have staff with advanced credentialing in our emergency departments, intensive care units.

Work Schedule:

-Weekly schedule is 14 on-14 off. (12 hour shifts 7am – 7pm.)

-There are two providers on each day and one on each night shift.

-When you’re off, you’re off! The team covers for each other as needed.

-No call.

Qualifications/Skills:

-Board Certified Critical Care Intensivist

-Valid medical license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.

-Strong communication skills.

-Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform endotracheal intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tube placement, and bronchoscopies.

-Endobronchial ultrasound biopsy, and percutaneous tracheostomy tube placement would be ideal but not required.

-Respond to Code Blue on day shift.

-Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in internal medicine, pulmonology, and critical care.
