• Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p in ICU
• 3-4 shifts of nightly call per week from 5p - 7a
• 24 Hour Call on Weekends from 7am Friday - 7am Monday
• Specific dates (will consider any weeks offered):
  • 1/20 - 1/27
  • 4/14 - 4/21
  • 5/12 - 5/19

Clinical Details

• Inpatient, Call, Rounding/Admitting
• Call Ratio: 1:4
• Average Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 18, with support of NP
• Average Number of Inpatient (non ICU) Patients per Physician per Day: 10, with support of NP
• Average Number of Admissions per Physician per Day: 3-5
• Trauma Level/Designation: 3
• Total Number of Beds: 300 or less
• Number of ICU Beds: 20
• Practice Setting: Medical, Adult
• Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps Required: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
• Treatment and Management of: Asthma, Bronchiolitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Pneumonia, Sarcoidosis, Pulmonary Vascular Disease, Pulmonary Nodules

Requirements

• Board Certified (Pulmonary Care or Critical Care) or Board Eligible (willing to accept new grads)
• Active IA License or willing to obtain
• Fellowship in Pulmonary Care and Critical Care (Proficiency with EBUS and ION procedures preferred)
• ACLS, ION, Critical Care procedures
• Must be available for at least 1 full week per month, ongoing
• Ventilation Management Procedures Required: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy), Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
• Required Insertions: Central Line, Arterial Line
• Procedures Required: Chest tube insertion, Bronchoscopy, Bronchoscopy w/ Bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL), Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues, Pulmonary Function Testing, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), ION
