Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Board certified/eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Over five years experience leading a team of intensivists.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Georgia.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • We offer an array of flexible scheduling options, which includes one Intensivist during the day and tele-ICU coverage at night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients in an ICU within a 160-bed community hospital that includes a primary stroke center.
  • Lead multidisciplinary rounds with active team participation.
  • Support Internal Medicine residents who will rotate in the ICU as part of the hospital’s GME program.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care.
  • Participate in and encourage other team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.
